   Volunteer Server Information

Volunteers are the life-blood of the Festival. If you are interested in volunteering as a server (during the public tasting) or in another capacity for the Chocolate Festival, please email us at chocolatefestival@gmail.com.

We would love to have your help toward benefiting the community by helping to serve these wonderful desserts or assisting with a variety of other critical functions during the event.

Volunteer servers will need to check in at the Bullen Center at 6:00 p.m. on the evening of the Festival. Meet at the top of the stairs with the Volunteer Coordinator for a briefing on the Festival process, safe food handling and to receive your station assignment. Servers will be provided with plastic gloves and must wash their hands in compliance with State health codes. Please tie your hair back if it is long. Attire is "dressy" in black, white and/or red motif. Serving for the public tasting begins at 6:30 pm.

Additional duties for which volunteers are needed include assisting with the live auction as “dessert models” (walking around the audience to display desserts), helping with set-up and clean-up, dispensing desserts at the Auction Pick-Up area, and various other important roles. Again, thank you for volunteering your time. The Chocolate Festival couldn't happen without you.
