Instructions for Dessert Entries

Thank you for your interest in our Valentine Pro/Am Chocolate Festival to benefit Cache Valley Planned Parenthood. As in the past, the main evening events will be the tasting of donated desserts (by the public), judging, awards and auction.

You can obtain an entry form for submitting your dessert at:

 NO DESSERTS REQUIRING REFRIGERATION CAN BE ACCEPTED (e.g., French silk pies with raw eggs).

We can give you a receipt for charitable contributions when you enter your dessert.  Please keep track of expenses.

In order to have the initial judging completed before the public opening @ 6:30 p.m., you will need to have your desserts at Bullen Center, between 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on the Saturday of the festival.

Schedule: Judging will be on taste, appearance, and creative use of chocolate in the dessert. At 6:30 p.m., the public will be allowed to come taste the various desserts and vote for their favorites. Awards will be given at 8:00 p.m., after which the auction will begin. A Silent Auction will be conducted during the public tasting and for a short time thereafter.
